Motherhood is something I never thought I would experience, after years of wonder and grievances of loss, God blessed us! Motherhood has changed my life and has given me strength from a place I didn’t know existed.
After my son Magnus was born I continued to lightly work on my novel (a collaboration piece about the gift of giving, positive intention, forgiveness and saying, “thank you!”…This ongoing project of mine had to be shelved because I was simply enamored with every inch of my new baby blessing. Instead my time was spent creating bedtime songs for my son as I rocked him to sleep and so was born out of a nursery song, a page turning picture book, Sleep Baby, Sleep!.
Sleep Baby, Sleep! Mommy’s little baby doesn’t like to sleep. He likes to wait until the animals sing. What animals come out to sing at night? Let’s see if reading or singing the story puts baby to sleep.
